NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR THE DUCHESNE COUNTY JUSTICE COURT VACANCY

Duchesne County, UT – The Duchesne County Nominating Commission has selected three nominees for a judicial vacancy that will serve Duchesne County, Utah. The position will replace Judge Clair Poulson who will retire in November.

Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:

  • Judge Randy Birch, J.D., Justice Court Judge of Heber City and Pleasant Grove,  resident of Heber City,
  • Jeff Chugg, Safety Director, resident of Duchesne, and
  • E. Jed Labrum, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Vernal City

A comment period will be held through October 28, 2021. A final candidate will then be selected by the Duchesne County Commission within 60 days.
