NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR THE PAROWAN CITY JUSTICE COURT VACANCY

Parowan City, UT—The Iron County Nominating Commission has selected three nominees for a  judicial vacancy that will serve Parowan City, Utah. The position will replace Judge Brent Dunlap  who resigned his position. 

Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence: 

Matthew Carling, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Cedar City,  

Lucia Maloy, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Cedar City, and 

Chase Van Oostendorp, J.D., attorney at law, resident of St. George. 

A comment period will be held through November 18, 2021. A final candidate will then be  selected by the Parowan City Mayor, Preston Griffiths, within 30 days.
