NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR THE PAROWAN CITY JUSTICE COURT VACANCY

Parowan City, UT—The Iron County Nominating Commission has selected three nominees for a  judicial vacancy that will serve Parowan City, Utah. The position will replace Judge Brent Dunlap  who resigned his position. 

Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence: 

• Matthew Carling, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Cedar City,  

• Lucia Maloy, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Cedar City, and 

• Chase Van Oostendorp, J.D., attorney at law, resident of St. George. 

A comment period will be held through November 18, 2021. A final candidate will then be  selected by the Parowan City Mayor, Preston Griffiths, within 30 days.
